A Diamond cut for The Little Princess Trust
Kate’s gone for the chop here at Diamond HQ, donating her long locks to the Little Princess Trust.
Kate says, “I was always wondering how I would get back to my natural hair colour and saw an article about the Little Princess Trust, which spoke about young children, suffering from cancer and the wigs that could be made with 12 inches of hair.
It did mean that I had to go for a rather radical image change, but I thought ‘why not?’ and I am pleased to say I have received my certificate saying that my hair is going to be made into a wig for a little person.”
Kate always been a supporter of many of the cancer charities. Having walked the Jurassic coast for McMillan, completed a Camino Way challenge for breast cancer and more than one race for life.
As Kate says “Cancer has been a predominant theme in my family and these are charities that I’m very passionate about. What people forget, is the side-effects of cancer and for a little person losing their hair I can imagine must be very distressing. I was glad to do my bit.”

Ben from our Leicestershire centre is taking on an amazing fundraising challenge.
He’ll be walking 88 miles from Leicester to the Trinity Statue outside Old Trafford, Manchester, to raise money for the amazing Rainbows Hospice charity.
