Creating change through giving back

At Diamond, we understand the importance of charity giving as part of our wider social responsibilities. This is why we have focused on building charitable giving into the everyday running of our business through regular contributions to Safe in Sussex and Sanctuary.

We have also donated 1000’s of books to Oxfam, donated to Transaid at Christmas and a team from Diamond ran the Pretty Muddy Course last July to raise money for Cancer Research.

Giving Back.

Diamond is changing it focus to local charities in 2025 so watch this space for more updates.

First is our commitment to eliminating period poverty by working with Sanctuary – a housing charity supporting young women in Brighton with providing them with a monthly supply of sanitary products to support the women living there.

Sophies Journey.

Our Network partners based in Lincoln support local charity, Sophie’s Journey, by allowing them to use one of our vehicles to transport equipment to the events that they do throughout the year.

Sophie’s Journey was set up in memory of the founders daughter, Sophie Robinson from Lincoln, who sadly passed away in January 2016, aged 12, after a two-year battle with medulloblastoma – an aggressive cancerous tumour in her brain.

Using their two dedicated caravans at Golden Sands Holiday Park in Mablethorpe, they provide free holidays to Lincolnshire children living with cancer and their families.

The team at Sophie’s journey commenedt: “As a small charity this will make a massive difference to us it will mean we will be able to attend more events through Lincolnshire which will help us to raise awareness of the charity and childhood cancer, and reach more families”.
