So, let’s answer the big question first: what actually is a same day courier, Dan?

Well, it’s effectively chauffeured driving for goods from point A to point B in a dedicated vehicle. Or, at the very least, a vehicle that might make two or three drops on the way to the final destination.

That means there is a huge amount of control.

The difference between a same day courier and an overnight courier, or carrier, is that with same day delivery, usually only one set of hands is touching your goods. As a result, there is far less margin for error.

An overnight carrier is a consolidated service. The goods pass through many hands and, obviously, that creates a small margin for error.

If you have something that is really urgent, really important, or very fragile, then same day courier is the one for you.

Absolutely. It is about the high value and the increased control you have over the delivery. It means things are less likely to go wrong.

Basically, if the cost of the goods not arriving far outweighs the cost of delivering them from A to B, then same day courier is the choice for you.
