A growing courier network has celebrated a storming start to the New Year by donating to international charitable causes.
With a collective network of 25 courier partners’ nationwide opened over 50 new accounts in January, one of their best starts to the year. As a consequence of their success Diamond Logistics has been able to donate the provision of free nourishing meals to school children in Mumbai. The delivery schemes encourages impoverished parents to enroll their children into local schools, incentivises children to attend school regularly and helps them concentrate better with their studies.
The charitable donation is part of Diamond Logistics ongoing commitment to support B1G1 its 2016 annual charity partner. B1G1 is a social enterprise and non-profit organisation with a mission to create a world that’s full of giving. The enterprise forms part of Diamond Logistics wider Shared Success © principles which are at the heart of the business.
Kate Lester, Diamond Logistics Founder and CEO, says:
Charity is at the core of our business operation. Here at Diamond we recognise the importance of giving back to the wider society and by giving a little and often we can provide for people that are less fortunate than ourselves. I want to congratulate the whole network for their storming start to the year.
