Peterborough-based courier – Mike and Sebastian Transport – has joined the diamondlogistics network to grow its eCommerce client base and serve customers in the Anglia area.
The local business, formed in 2017 and founded by Claudiu Arapu, has grown rapidly over four years. After just 12 months in operation, Claudiu employed 12 permanent drivers, and two months later, his first sub depot launched. By 2019, Claudiu had opened and managed four depots and developed a range of routes. Despite the challenges of 2020, two more depots were launched.
Anglia Courier Service
In 2021 Mike and Sebastian Transport has the largest geographical area coverage for Hermes and controls the exclusive rights to the Anglia region for Hermes light and large shipments.
Mike and Sebastian Transport is now set to extend and expand as a diamondlogistics Network Partner.
Claudiu shares why he chose diamond, ‘Our Hermes contracts work and pay for themselves and we wanted to spread out into other companies. We originally thought about the same sector, and signing up with a company such as Amazon, but then discovered diamondlogistics and saw the growth potential.
